Owner/Driver Dave Modder

Dave's interest in jet cars began at age 14 when he saw his first jet car run at Great Lakes Dragaway in Union Grove Wi. He knew then and there that some day he would be setting the tracks ablaze in one!

22yrs later dreams became reality. 

Dave's " real " job is as a corporate pilot where his office is the cockpit of a Gulfstream business jet. His piloting days date back to 1986 and since then he has done everything from crop dusting, air freight, aerial survey & commercial airlines to his current position as Corporate Captain and aircraft maintenance provider at his current location. 

Dave was also a firefighter for the Pleasant Prairie Wi fire dept. from 1984-1991 and is currently a volunteer firefighter for Randall Township Wi. since 2011 and recently promoted to rank of Captain in 2023. MRE's partnership with The National Fallen Firefighters Foundation has special meaning to Dave and the Dragon's Fyre team due to this fact.

Dave and The Dragon's Fyre have been featured on ESPN...ESPN2..Fox Sports Network and Horsepower TV. Print media includes Hot Rod magazine and IHRA review.
